August 26th is the best day!! Each year we hope to take a few good photos on our anniversary so that we can track how we change through our marriage. After each of our anniversaries, we will update and repost this blog with a few of our favorite pictures and some of the highlights of that year :)

First Year of Marriage Highlights

• Honeymoon in South Lake Tahoe
• First Thanksgiving and Christmas together
• Long weekend exploring Zion National Park
• Two weeks touring Jamaica!
• First real move to Iowa for a summer internship
• Fourth of July festivities in St. Louis, Missouri
• Exploring the Maquoketa Caves State Park and seeing the Nauvoo Pageant

~ TWO YEARS ~

Second Year of Marriage Highlights

• First anniversary mini trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado
• Long weekend exploring Moab, Utah
• Weekend trip to Las Vegas with friends for the WCC
• Graduating with our undergraduate degrees from BYU
• Two week trip touring Greece and Italy!
• Summer internship in Southern California
• Weekend trips to Big Bear Lake, California
• Second anniversary mini trip hiking through Yosemite National Park 

~ THREE YEARS ~

Third Year of Marriage Highlights

• Ellen's first year working full-time as a substitute teacher
• Dustan begins his master's degree at BYU
• Western Caribbean cruise and visit to Disney World with the Nielson family
• Starting a photography business as Kraus Photos
• Long weekend exploring Bryce National Park
• Weekend trip to Las Vegas with friends for the WCC
• Getting PREGNANT with our first baby!
• Weekend camping trip in Moab, Utah with friends
• Weekend trip hiking around St. George with friends
• Ball Family Reunion camping on the Snake River for a week
• Third anniversary mini trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP

Fourth Year of Marriage Highlights

• Welcoming our beautiful baby Eloise into the world :)
• Family visiting to meet Lou and for Thanksgiving
• Visiting the Krauses in Colorado for Christmas break
• Visiting the Nielsons in Washington twice
• Girls weekend in Colorado
• Lots of mountain biking
